- IDEAS FOR USING THIS APPLICATION
-
- Worksheets are provided to help you explore and understand Castles.
- For example, spreadsheet activities are provided to help children
- make sense of the cost of building and running a castle. Other worksheets
- provide activities away from the computer including source material
- exercises and a board game. The activity sheets are held in a directory
- called ACTSHTS in the RESRCES directory.
-
- Access to the Castles of the British Isles database is available in KEY PLUS
- format. Running the datafile in KEY PLUS provides additional fields and
- functionality. For example, students can search for different types of
- castle and plot them onto the map of the British Isles provided on the CD
- ROM.
-
- KEY PLUS is not provided on this CD ROM but can be purchased separately.
- Contact SCA (Anglia) at the address above.
